How to rewrite PLR

May 5, 2008

One of the major questions I get in, day in, week in, month in, month out - is how to rewrite PLR effectively, and why I DO NOT recommend article spinners.

There’s two components to this:
Why can’t I use an article spinner/software/post them on as I bought them…

By and large, most spinners wreck already (possibly) poorly written articles and turn them into mush.  If you’re lucky, sometimes they work, but if you’re having to also read your articles to make sure they don’t need edited - and then editing them.  Doing the same again, and over with each article.  You’d probably be just as quick rewriting them.

So - how to edit…
Editing PLR, once you get used to it, is fairly easy.
First up, read the article.  Get a feel for the core concepts of the article - and then take anything that could be considered a secondary sentence, and rewrite it completely.  Once you’ve done that, review the primary sentences, and rewrite parts of that, without losing its overall feel.  It should only take you fifteen minutes.  Add to the article, as a longer article will do better.

Rewriting is as simple as looking at the message and reshaping words around it.  Once you’ve done that you’ll have a unique article, with your spin, which makes it ALL YOU.
