One of the biggest complaints I’ve heard lately from my clients is that they have to put in ‘an extra step or six’ to tell their auto-responder subscribers that their blog has updated.

The good news is that if you’re with places like Aweber, they offer a way to post your blog - or in some cases, specific posts from your blog, to your newsletter straight away.

Wordpress allows you to create feeds around categories - so you could ‘tease’ your auto responder subscribers with relevant information from your blog, without splitting it off from your main blog, or losing their attention because there’s ‘too much information’. Simply choose the url of the feed (rss) you want to use and plug it into the relevant box on your auto-responder.

And then sit back, post and watch your subscribers coming on over to your blog!
